I see art as a tangible pathway and conveyance for exploring relational situations and experiences that spark a dialogue about the natural environment and our connectivity to this realm. I am interested in art as a medium of elucidation and learning, to subvert our common perceptions of daily routine and patterns of living in the world. Through installations and mixed media work, I use my body and create objects that re-imagine spaces through whimsy and an aesthetic of engagement. To indeed slow down time and form spaces of unique quality that expunge materialistic underpinnings and re-saturate them with relational reciprocity between participant and environment through sensual and proprioceptive engagement.
