Andrea Higgins

Andrea Higgins investigates aspects of family heritage, memento mori, collecting/collections, the feminine and the domestic, via two series of traditionally created archival, black and white, photogram images.

Andrea Higgins has worked in Sydney assisting well-known fashion photographers as well as London based antique dealer, Charles Edwards. She co-established the Queensland Centre of Photography (QCP) and was an active board member for the first three-year period. Andrea exhibits her photographic artwork regularly both in public and private galleries. Her works are in public and private collections and have been featured in both photographic and mainstream publications.
