An interdisciplinary fine artist specialising in drawing, illustration, photography and construct and currently based in the Lake District in the UK.

Ongoing work is focussed on notions of the melancholic impossibility of nostalgia and its potential as litmus for possible future outcomes.

Conventional medium format photography with a digital aspect and using alternatives to conventional photographic printing process are being explored as suitable vehicles for parallel new works revisiting photorealism.

Anthony graduated with an MA in Contemporary Fine Art at the University of Cumbria (formerly Cumbria Institute of the Arts) in 2008.
Related skills include photographic skills tutor, digital imaging and media skills tutor, mechanical design draughtsman, traditional signwriter and heraldic scribe, web designer and graphic artist.
Past work has included magazine illustration and book illustration. Anthony is currently working on a photographic book title for fine scale modellers.

Anthony currently works for the University of Cumbria in the capacity of Resource Manager and Senior Technician Demonstrator of the Photographic and Digital Imaging Facility at the University’s Fine Art Campus in Carlisle. He is an educator with a crafts related skill base, inclusive of carpentry and metalworking to complimenting his digital imaging and computing skills. He is active as a visiting artist, lecturer and speaker.
