Mande Morgan

Media: Photography, Installation, Screen-based

ARTISTS STATEMENT
At the moment I tend to consider identity, location, and how one viewer can perceive these things differently from the next. Site-dependant work interests me, as do political connections with landscape and place. I often combine works in a method that is similar to a traditional architectural practice, whereby an idea is sketched out by hand, or constructed in some way, then photographed, painted or combined digitally. Some aspects of the work refer to history, while others take place outside of a gallery and exist only as ephemeral moments in everyday situations.

Installations, works on paper, photography, books, videos.
