Melbourne based visual artist, working mainly with acrylic on canvas. Subjects include highly stylised landscapes, wine and the female form.
My highly stylised pieces utilise textures, colours and composition. The subject itself becomes a vessel evoking emotive qualities and experiences. A landscape portrays the essence of a particular place in time. The surrounding happenings and emotions, both real and fantasised, are interwoven in the brush strokes. Is it stretching towards a dawn or away from a sunset? My aim is to create another world, a space for contemplation, for joy, for action, for sorrow – what do you see?
