Rodney Love

My work can be roughly divided into three main areas: The interplay between the individual and the group, and the tensions that arise from this; the exploration of decay and destruction as an artistic medium and theme; and the idea of the remix or collage. I use traditional media for painting, but otherwise like to experiment with materials like human hair, socks, chopsticks and other items that might be considered waste in other contexts.
