Renata Buziak
‘My ‘biochrome’ images are inspired and created by environmental processes – a fusion of art and science. ‘Biochromes’ trace the activities of the microorganisms during organic decomposition and reveal the fascinating changes occurring in the cycle of life and death’.
Renata Buziak lives in Brisbane since 2002. Buziak held solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally, received of a number of art prizes, and her work is held in public and private collections. In April 2010 Buziak’s first book ‘Afterimage’ was published by the Queensland Centre for Photography; it includes a comprehensive essay by Dr. Victoria Garnons-Williams and a foreword by Lyle Rexer.
