UPPER

Seventh Gallery Sally Blenheim

Monday 12 June 2006 to Friday 30 June 2006
In Upper, 2005, Blenheims' installation of strip lighting and coal plays with the dimensions of the space to create a skewed perception of scale and proportion. The blackness of the coal creates an illusion of a hole in the ground, whereas the vertical and horizontal lights that appear crammed in create a sense of claustrophobia. Anna Vass 2006
