Guildford Lane Gallery and Creative Women’s Circle are delighted to announce that our speaker will be Lucy Feagins, most notably the author of the popular design blog TheDesignFiles.net <http://www.thedesignfiles.net/> .

By day, Lucy is a props buyer and set dresser in the film industry, and her website/blog TheDesignFiles is a collection of creative people, places and products from Melbourne and beyond. She updates her website daily, and interviews some of Australia’s most talented designers, artists and creative professionals every week.

Currently, Lucy blogs to roughly 14,000 readers worldwide a month. No small feat in the online world!

In addition to getting an insight on her work as a props buyer, Lucy will speak about how creating and maintaining a blog has helped her professionally and inspired her creativity, and will answer questions about how creative people can better promote themselves and raise their profiles as artists online via their own (or other people’s) blogs.
