Del Kathryn Barton
Born in 1972, lives and works in Sydney. Painting, sculpture and drawing are an integral part of Barton’s practice. She draws imagery from the human form and experience. Featured on the cover of Australian Art Collector (issue 39) and voted Australia’s Most Collectible Australian Artist in Australian Art Collector 2007 (issue 39), Barton was awarded the winner of The Archibald Prize 2008.
McLean Edwards
Born in 1972, lives and works in Sydney. Edwards’ paintings concentrate on the human figure – especially the history of portraiture. He is widely collected nationally and internationally and has held in excess of twenty solo exhibitions throughout his career.
Jonathan Nichols
Born in 1956, Nichols lives and works in Melbourne. Nichols’ varied painterly techniques combined with unexpected figurative perspectives encourage the viewer to question what it is they are observing. Nichols has been awarded numerous grants and residencies in addition to being represented in several prominent public and private collections.
Nusra Latif Qureshi
Born in 1973, Latif Qureshi lives and works in Melbourne. Latif Qureshi’s practice draws technically on her training in Musaviri painting in Pakistan. Her works on board echo historical and cultural threads and feature fine line-work. Latif Qureshi exhibited in The Fifth Asia Pacific Triennial and has exhibited widely nationally and internationally.
