With 25 years of experience in creating his sculptural masterpieces, Russian born Vladimir Chirokov brings his superior craftsmanship to Guildford Lane Gallery. Having exhibited in Russia, Japan and New Zealand, Chirokov will show fourteen of his masterful woodcarvings, including beautiful sculptural reliefs, carved bowls, a rocking chair and more.
Vladimir Chirokov was recently awarded the Tina Wentchers Sculpture Prize at the annual Association of Sculptors of Victoria exhibition. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and is a member of the Academy of Fine Arts of New Zealand, former member of the Academy of Fine Arts of Russia, and a member of the Association of Sculptors of Victoria. Vladimir now resides in Melbourne with his family, and his wood carvings have been purchased by multiple international customers from the government, corporate and private sectors.
