Psychogeographies
Richard Horvath
Walker Street Gallery
Thursday 01 April 2010 to Tuesday 27 April 2010
Opening Thursday 01 April 2010 6.30 – 8.30pm
The sole purpose of psychogeography is the subjective decoding of the urban space by moving through it.
Locations such as a kiosk in Istanbul or a mine in Broken Hill, are captured in the frozen light characteristic of this process, to create an atmosphere that is recognisable yet unearthly.
