Workshop 5: New Media: Workshop S.A.T.U: Saturn Analogy of Trans Urgency

In addition to learning about how HONF operates and presents new media laboratories in a developing country like Indonesia, participants will undertake a technical workshop where they build DIY music devices from Open Source Software. The final outcome will be a sound installation and collaborative sound performance that will be recorded on a CD compilation.
This new media focussed workshop will be facilitated by The House of Natural Fiber (HONF), an artist collective based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and participants in Next Wave’s keynote project Structural Integrity.
