The Art in Focus series of one-room exhibitions includes displays that provide a context for one or more related works from the University of Melbourne Art Collection.
This exhibition will focus on a major sculpture by Tim Jones titled Covert 7 city which was made during his artist residency at the university in 1989. A selection of working drawings and other rarely exhibited prints and drawings will also be exhibited, such as the major six-part charcoal, pastel, oil stick and gold-leaf drawing Metropolitan phantom from 1988.
