The exhibition will investigate the complexities of contemporary life such as our physical and psychological spaces, using the themes of identity, memory, urban alienation and community. The 21st century is a hybrid one reflecting our relationship with a changing urban environment and the impact of environment and population as well as rapidly developing digital technology and global issues.

Cityscapes, utopian hybrid landscapes and architectural spaces of the 21st century will be depicted.

Major contemporary artists Jon Cattapan, Stephen Haley, Greer Honeywill, Valerie Sparks, Simon Terrill, Darren Wardle and Kit Wise are included in the exhibition. The diverse practices of the artist’s spanning photography, painting, pigment prints, dvd animation, video, sculpture and installation are represented.
