Hailing from same Grenoble scene as the legendary Metamkine, the Superflux collective comprises three ‘bands’ who blend hand-processed film, cracked video, and experimental noise.
‘Lafoxe’ manipulates Hollywood footage in an improvised psychedelic journey through the history of cinematography. ‘Metalking’ offers an intense cinema of hallucinatory high-energy audio-visual noise. ‘Filmbase’ presents dynamic performance works of pure light using a feedback system that blends fi lm and video in real time. A joint project with OtherFilm.
