New Zealand-born artist and writer, Amy Howden-Chapman will be presenting a new performance work exclusively at Gertrude Contemporary.

Currently living in Los Angeles finishing her MA at Cal Arts, she is part of a performance duo with Biddy Livesey – Raised By Wolves – which undertook a residency at Gertrude Contemporary in 2008. Recent projects include The Elysian Park Museum of Art’s History of Climate Change, A Guided Tour of the Collection. In 2009, she was commissioned by the City Gallery Wellington to produce The Flood, My Chanting, a One Day Sculpture project (for more information, see the One Day Sculpture website).
