The illustrations of fine lines and water colour transform the mail box lobby into idealised landscapes with a twist of humour in the stories told.
A light-hearted take of situations we find ourselves in, played out by hybrid animals, warring islands and small barnacle like colonies – Birds, Bison + Big Houses draws its inspiration firstly from a night of chasing a white egret fishing for its dinner in Geelong, secondly from places with indescribable beauty within the wild Australian landscape which constantly amazes me and always takes my breath away, and thirdly from my wild imagination and desire to draw and make friends laugh.
