TIM HANDFIELD is back! With a workshop for visual artists exploring digital colour. This full-day workshop is aimed at those of an intermediate skill-level with basic photoshop experience. This step-by-step workshop will open up new horizions for creative expression.

Understanding digital colour will provide visual artists with the foundation knowledge to use digital photography in an expressive way to control digital colour from conception through to the final print or multimedia presentation of their work. The day is divided into four sessions addressing different aspects of the topic:

  • What is colour?
  • How does the eye work?
  • Working with digital colour
  • The digital colour print

ABOUT TIM HANDFIELD
Tim is a fine art photographer of thirty years experience, with nineteen years in digital photography. He has many years of experience in both analogue and digital printing as the founder of The Colour Factory, which he managed from 1980 to 1992.

In these digital photography workshops, Tim draws on his experience to enable participants to gain new insights and develop their skills in digital photography and image processing to produce superb print ready files.
