Robbins is an artist, scientist, engineer, inventor, musician, alchemist. His interest in natural phenomena and the way they are documented, or, perhaps more accurately, how they can illustrate themselves. From invisible to visible: over the next month a newly installed solar panel on the roof of the gallery will feed Robbins’ Lunar/Solar Drawing Machine, transcribing the sun’s energy.
