Fehily Contemporary is proud to present Luminous Interval, an exhibition of new work by photographer Sonia Payes.
In this body of work, Payes tests the boundaries and expectations of photography, wresting surreal imagery from seemingly natural landscapes. These otherworldly scenes seem to dwell in a state of primordial flux, a place awash with dizzying vantages, fluctuating forms and undulating colours. Here, Payes rails against the constraints of photography and reality as the works take on their own haunting and compelling form.
