The installation will have the theatrical appearance of a stage or set. A scene set in an ordinary room, staging an aged ex-boxer who is a life-sized battered husk of his former prime, playing chess against a petite athletic dancer.
The two figures reside quietly within a room that resembles them- exposed, scared but doing whatever necessary to make you feel at home in their living room. The installation will be accompanied by some supporting works, mainly small sculptures.
