Professor Howard Morphy, Director, Research School of Humanities, Australian National University, will open this exhibition of works from one of the most important private collections of Indigenous Australian art.

An extensive collection of Indigenous Australian art has been built over many years by Dr Colin and Elizabeth Laverty. Today it is recognised as one of the most important private collections of Indigenous Australian art. This exhibition comprises paintings by 34 artists including Paddy Bedford, Eubena Nampitjin, Makinti Napanangka, Prince of Wales, Freddie Ngarmaliny Timms and Regina Wilson.
