An elegant retrospective of Julie Irving’s highly regarded 37 year career.
Julie Irving’s formal artistic training was undertaken at the National Gallery of Victoria Art School and the Victorian College of the Arts.
She began exhibiting her artwork in 1976 and solo shows include the Pinacotheca Gallery, Melbourne; Realities Gallery, Melbourne; Australian Galleries, Sydney; with group exhibitions including the National Gallery of Victoria; Art Gallery of New South Wales; Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane; Heide Museum of Modern Art, Melbourne. She has exhibited internationally in Auckland, NZ and Tokyo, Japan.
Collections include the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra; Artbank, Visual Arts Board Collection, Australia; Queensland Art Gallery and the World Congress Centre Collection, Melbourne.
