The Owl and Pussycat Gallery

The Owl and The Pussycat seeks to support non-mainstream artists by offering a more commercial focus than what is currently available to them in the vast majority of artist-run spaces.

Hosting an array of different art forms; from visual to performance, the written and spoken word, a variety of classes, special events and more, the Gallery aims to represent ‘The art’s’ in all its forms.

Jason Cavanagh, the owner operator of The Owl and The Pussycat Gallery was inspired to create a space for artists who struggle to find a way to practice their art.

The Owl and The Pussycat will ensure a lively, creative and fun environment by featuring a variety of activities and events each week along with some of Melbourne’s most exciting new art works on show.
