Australian Print Workshop Gallery

Australian Print Workshop Gallery presents exhibitions of contemporary limited edition prints, providing a showcase for works produced at the Workshop by both established and emerging artists. A new exhibition opens in the gallery approximately every five weeks.

APW Gallery offers a large selection of limited edition prints available for purchase, which include works from APW exhibitions and special projects, as well works by a range of artists who have produced prints at APW including Paul Boston, John Coburn, Dale Hickey, Kevin Lincoln, Allan Mitelman, Judy Watson and John Wolseley.

APW Projects have resulted in the production of many extraordinary limited edition prints by leading Australian and international artists. Recent projects include APW ’s unique artist-in-residency program in Venice, Italy, with artists Rick Amor, Jon Cattapan, Jan Senbergs and Louise Weaver; an exciting cross-continental collaboration with New York based dance icon Merce Cunningham; and APW Collie Print Trust Fellowships with Aleks Danko, eX de Medici, Thornton Walker and Louise Weaver.

Prints produced at APW have been acquired by major public collections throughout Australia and overseas. These include The British Museum, Guangzhou Museum of Art, Musée du quai Branly, National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of Victoria and Art Gallery of New South Wales, to name just a few.
