Edward Thorp Gallery

The Edward Thorp Gallery exhibits paintings, drawings, and sculptures by American and European artists. The gallery has a strong reputation for its emphasis on troducing and nurturing emerging artists. It is also known for its diverse program within both fine and decorative arts. After 25 years in Soho, the gallery moved summer 2000 to an elegant 6,000 sq.ft. space in Chelsea. [...] The artists style range from realism to abstraction with an emphasis on individual vision and a skillful handling of craft. The gallery also has interests in Italian fine art glass, ceramics, folk art furniture, outsider and self-taught artists.
