Galerie Jan Krugier & Cie
Created in 1962, the Galerie Jan Krugier & Cie is situated in the heart of Geneva’s old town. In 1987, the Jan Krugier Gallery opens in New York. It is followed, two years later, by the opening of the Contemporary Art Department in the main office in Geneva.
Specialised in modern and contemporary masters, the Galerie Jan Krugier & Cie is the exclusive agent for The Marina Picasso Collection of works by Pablo Picasso, as well as the representative of The Alejandra, Aurelio and Claudio Torres Collection of works by Joaquin Torres-Garcia.
The Gallery also represents other major modern masters such as Jean Arp, Balthus, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Max Beckmann, Pierre Bonnard, Jean Dubuffet, Max Ernst, Paul Klee, Joan Miro, Giorgio Morandi as well as famous Contemporary artists like : Eduard Angeli, Geneviève Asse, Anthony Caro, Marc-Antoine Fehr, Michel Haas, Béatrice Helg, Zoran Music, Irving Petlin.
The Galerie Jan Krugier & Cie has also been participating for many years in major international art fairs such as Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, FIAC , Biennale des Antiquaires, ARCO , TEFAF, etc.
Mr. Jan Krugier, the Gallery’s Director, has been an international art dealer for more than four decades and was honoured with the Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres by the French government in 1996 for his outstanding contributions to French art fairs.
