Galerie Quynh
Galerie Quynh was founded in 2000 by Vietnamese-American art critic Quynh Pham and Robert Cianchi (British) as an online resource dedicated to the Vietnamese art scene. A physical gallery space in Ho Chi Minh City was established in December 2003. The gallery’s current premises occupy a former factory near a bustling market close to downtown Ho Chi Minh City.
Galerie Quynh is the leading contemporary art gallery in Vietnam and considered to be one of the most professional art spaces in the region. The gallery is targeted by international curators as the first choice for traveling exhibitions to the region.
Initially promoting several of Vietnam’s pioneering abstract painters, the gallery has since embraced a wider international program. In addition to promoting a select group of artists working in Vietnam, Galerie Quynh also exhibits the work of artists based overseas, allowing the local community access to a diverse range of contemporary art practice. Working with art spaces and curators internationally, we also promote education through artist talks and published texts in both Vietnamese and English.
