Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest

Historically, this beautiful riverside gallery was the former home of artists Gerald and Margo Lewers – leaders in the development of modernism in Australia. It was Margo’s wish that the property, gardens and substantial collection of art work be used as a gallery and centre for the enjoyment and understanding of contemporary art.

Today visitors to the Gallery enjoy an ever-changing program of exhibitions; education and workshop programs and special events as well as splendid gardens and a fine Café.
