CAST

CAST provides a program of high quality, experimental visual arts exhibitions characterised by innovation and energy with a high level of professional support provided to exhibitors including publications. Exhibitions take place in the CAST Gallery, the CAST Small Space and in other venues around the state and nationally. CAST provides services specifically to support, stimulate and develop Tasmanian contemporary artists and their practice. There are several mentorship programs offered or managed by CAST . CAST also hosts public dialogue initiatives designed to foster and educate audiences to engage with new and experimental visual culture both as participants and collectors. We also hold regular discussion evenings for CAST Members that involve invited speakers drawn from a range of institutions and professions.
