Gertrude Contemporary

Gertrude Contemporary was founded in 1983 as a non profit contemporary art complex of gallery spaces and studio facilities. The organisation provides professional support to artists in the early stages of their careers through exhibition, studio and associated cultural exchange and public programs which address the relationship between contemporary art practices and current critical debate.

Gertrude Contemporary was formerly known as Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces.
