China Heights

China Heights Gallery is located in Surry Hills, Sydney. The third story warehouse venue houses both China Heights Gallery, and the Heights Studio (7 Individual creatives working in fashion, fine arts, photography and design).

Directed and managed by Edward Woodley and Mark Drew, the independent space was built in early 2004, and has seen many events since. Renovations in 2007 extended the space to 135m2, and added a permanent 4m wide photographic cyclorama, to accomodate growing use as a photography studio.

The space draws a regular crowd, and is known for its weekly shows. The roster has included Bigfoot, Eric Orr, Zoo York, Mr Cartoon, Rob Abeyta + Estevan Oriol via Refill Mag, Kill Pixie, Dashenka Prochazka, Design is Kinky, Enjoi Skateboards, Adidas and many other local artists, photographers and designers with a full calender over 2008.
