Reyburn House Art Gallery
Gallery in
Town Basin Precinct,
Whangarei
New Zealand
Whangarei’s historic Reyburn House has survived changes on the city’s waterfront because the Northland Society of Arts has made it its home.
Now after a $400,000 restoration this Art Gallery is even flasher than a rat with a gold tooth. It is a truly beautiful restored house and a beautiful gallery. Elegant and subdued on the outside and set in an old fashioned garden. Inside, the colours bring the gallery into 2000. Each room is a picture in itself.
This truly beautiful gallery has changing exhibitions of all forms of quality local art. It is well worth a visit.
