The Old Church Gallery

Welcome to The Old Church Gallery. This gallery specializes in contemporary, original NZ and Pacific art and is a platform for emerging and more established artists. Representing artists exhibiting in a rural historic church, it features solo and small group shows at affordable prices. The art work on this site can be viewed, purchased or rented.

The Old Church Gallery was originally an Interdenominational rural church. It was built in 1929 and used for worship until the 1990’s. Its beautiful native wood interior has been lovingly restored and the gallery included. While it maintains many of its original features, modern facilities have been added by its owners.

A unique feature of the gallery is the relaxed, elegant lounge area where client chosen works can be hung for contemplative perusal. What better way to view your choices than in a realistic setting with something to eat and drink (bookings are essential). The gallery also includes unique accommodation for those who wish to view the gallery or particular works at leisure, relax in the peaceful environment or to take in the many activities that the Te Aroha area has to offer.

The gallery also houses the studio of its owner, Mark Weston.
