FOUR

Four is devoted to the development of an uninhibited artistic exploration of ideas, discourses and new trends in contemporary art and its practices. It sees its function as promoting, supporting and bringing contemporary art, curators and the artists who take part in its evolution to the public’s attention.

Four hosts nine exhibitions a year and profiles emerging or mid-career international or Irish artists whose practice is of outstanding quality and who have limited previous exposure in Ireland. The gallery is committed to the professional development of artists and offers a strong level of curatorial, administrative and practical support. The exhibitions are complimented by a programme of live music and a series of talks which aim to introduce and discuss various aspects of contemporary art practice.
