Owned by Joan Winter, Baboa gallery opened in 2008 and has exhibited Guatelmalan and Inuit art, artefacts and crafts. The emphasis is on the work of Torres Strait Islander artists such as Dennis Nona, who employs traditional wood-carving skills in a linocut medium to depict Melanesian myths and allegories.
