ACFA is an artist run project space, initiated in May 2007 by Richard Bryant, Richard Frater, Anya Henis, Patrick Lundberg and Martyn Reynolds. Our aim is to stimulate and encourage the practices of critically engaged artists who are interested in alternative avenues of representation.
The Academy opened its new galleries at 1 Queens Wharf in February 2000. The new address has dramatically increased visitor numbers and not making a charge for admission has consolidated this.
